Having already, based on my own hands-on experience, objectively demonstrated to users that the features they miss or crave most (“AI Prompt” and “Lyrics”) are, deep down, completely unnecessary and dispensable, and indeed, that it might be better if they just removed this rubbish entirely (VDJ was always reliable, but since the 2026 version, performance has suffered due to heavy-hitters like real-time HQ stem separation, with the constant online traffic, fetching things like lyrics, only making matters worse; it’s a critical issue), I now turn my attention (after addressing those who missed services like Tidal, SoundCloud, etc.) to the final group: those who ultimately miss having access to the official, high-cost online music catalogs. This wasn’t something I originally intended to tackle… but things have taken a turn for the worse. I really shouldn’t have opened this Pandora’s Box, for now, strictly without the aid of cocaine, I find myself ready to offer the very same advice to ATOMIX itself… How so? Let’s dive in. (And rest assured: after this, there will be nothing left to say.)
Now that I have largely finished tweaking VDJ 2026 into a version I am truly satisfied with, one requiring no “host file” entries, relying instead on pure code patching of the main executable, and where everything works perfectly (including basic online functionalities), I felt the final itch to go ahead and “unlock” those subscription-based online music catalogs. For those who remember my last video about the SoundCloud rip-off… anyway, when I was done with that, I still didn’t realize just how much worse things are with these guys than I had originally suspected. (Mind you, I was never really interested in them personally; however, despite never actually using them, they gave me the impression that these subscription services were reasonably solid, integral pillars embedded right within VirtualDJ. (Side note: I actually used to be a member of various DJ pools back in the day, Music Factory, DMC Germany, Ultimix, and the like, but that was back in the late 80s, and it was genuinely exciting back then. Who needs that kind of thing nowadays, though? Even the “best” dj-pool services today are mind-numbingly boring and just as profit-hungry, albeit FAR less so than any of the third-party services currently relevant to VirtualDJ 2026.)
ANYWAY, once I was done successful cracking the ho ho ho “IDJ-POOL Pro Audio & Remixes,” the very first thing I searched for was “DJ Tool”… 3 hits. HAHAHAHAHA! What?! Okay, maybe their search function, with its fancy “if/then/else” and “try/catch” logic, was just glitching out. So, I decided to dig through their entire directory tree manually. And… AHHHHHHHH… oh… DONE. (It took me a grand total of 6 seconds to manually browse through their entire archive and find exactly what I was looking for.) I found a folder titled “Samples/Scratches/Beats/Loops.” (Presumably, the pool’s “elite” DJ staff member had a sudden flash of inspiration, perhaps channeling Norman Cock… uh, I mean Cook? You know, Fatboy Slime hack’n’sack What the fuck… they know how to fck or..what or whatever his name is…you see i also had the same as the steff member!) So, I clicked inside! BAM. 176 files. IN TOTAL. It was absolutely outrageous.
I won’t even bother describing the rest of the contents here, it truly leaves me speechless!, with the exception of just one sample pack out of the 176 files. It’s titled “Max Mix 6 Jingles and Effects.” (Pure coincidence, perhaps, though it happens to be something I’m actually far more familiar with than some of you might believe.) THIS is clearly a copyright infringement. The operators of this service don’t even make the slightest pretense of putting in any effort… nowhere in the metadata is this file tagged with relevant information like “label,” “copyright,” etc. In other words, what we have here is a wannabe DJ pool service that has virtually no content, and even less content that is actually relevant to its apparent target audience, and, furthermore, is ITSELF violating copyright by offering downloaded (non-original), stolen third-party content, all in order to sell that very same content (which other providers offer legitimately) as their own via an expensive subscription model. If I were at Atomix, I’d simply kick them out!
*, something I can honestly have a good laugh about right now, * because, while I was cracking the software, I briefly got a bit lost (and tired) in the code and started messing around with those subscription pop-ups, the kind you can just make vanish completely in a flash using a simple patch, and so on. (Until I thought to myself: “Dude, what are you even doing?” … this or real tetris, decide! haha) That was before I joined this thing here and now. So please, ATOMIX (YOU CRIMINALS… hehe, yeah, exactly!), do the same thing in real life, put all of them in to 1 BOX and kick it out!
WAIT it’s not the end the FINAL
SOUNDCLOUD SIMILAR ENDING PART COMES NOW THE BEST – FINALLY, we encounter yet another one of those things, similar to SoundCloud, involving DRM protection. Here’s how it works with the dj-service, that i never quote again, instead i call them now… hm “Criminal Insane Nazi Gang of Dumbheads”: SO Don’t go thinking you can just click on a track in the DJ pool and drag it straight onto your hard drive, NO. (True, there is a feature called “download cache,” but… let’s not go there.) Worse still this example describe it at all: if you open your own files in the “Track Cleaner,” you can, naturally, export them again afterward in various formats (provided you have the Pro version, or my version, hehe). NOW, try doing the exact same thing with files taken from the DJ Pool… Let’s assume you’re finished and finally hit “Export.” (Warning: the “SoundCloud Effect” is incoming…) Then:
FREEZE! YOU’RE (AGAIN) SITTING? OK:
Then You get this message:
“ONLINE FILES CAN’T BE EXPORTED”
(no matter what license/subscription) usually here start a large shitstorm but other things makes all in one more bad than final words to this end here of my log-file or since today also a tiny manifest. ME, yes, the asshole left the building by promise you just 2 things zhat stays here:
